Jay Wheeler’s career continues to rise. Today, (September 28) the Latin Recording Academy announced that his song “La Curiosidad” has been nominated for “Best Urban Song” and “Best Reggaeton Performance” at the 2021 Latin Grammys ceremony.
Returning to the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Thursday, Nov. 18, the 2021 Latin GRAMMYs, officially known as the 22nd Latin GRAMMY Awards, will air live on Univision beginning at 8 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. CT). Preceding the 2021 Latin GRAMMYs telecast is the Latin GRAMMY Premiere ceremony, where the winners in most categories will be announced.
Wheeler’s “La Curiosidad” with Myke Towers was released in 2020 and belongs to his second studio album, Platónicos. The song, produced by DJ Nelson, peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart and, so far, its video surpasses the 600 millions of views on YouTube.
